The Pan African Institute for Development was established in 1964 as an international association with diplomatic status. The head office is located in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and has five regional institutions spread across Africa:
– IPD-AC Douala, Cameroon for Francophone Central Africa
– PAID-WA Buea, Cameroon for Western English-speaking Africa
– PAID-ESA Kabwe, Zambia for East and South Africa
– IPD-AC Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso for Francophone Western Africa
– IPD-AN sales, Morocco for Arab North Africa ,
– PAID Doctorate School for Applied Development Sciences
– PAID Bilingual Center Yaoundé, Cameroon
The activities of PAID are threefold: training, research and support advice
Training programs include: Peace, conflicts and international relations Criminology and security management; Project management; Human resources; Agriculture, climate; Management of natural resources; Accounting & Finance.
